The Commencal team makes a clean sweep in DH with the victory among the women of Myriam Nicole and in the male field with Amaury Pierron. The Frenchman is just over a second ahead of the Canadian Finn Iles, who had been the man to beat for most of the race, but not enough to win.

Greg Minnaar, from the height of his 41 years, continues to surprise and in the world championship jersey wins an amazing 3rd place.
