It is said that the dessert is always held for the end and for the 4Island Epic the Wilier Triestina - Pirelli Factory Team did just that.
The two riders of the Wilier Triestina - Pirelli tried it from the first stage, winning 2 second places, but only the last stage gave them the victory they wanted and deserved. A really good result that also propelled them towards fourth place in the final overall standings. Positive experience for the two who for the first time competed in pairs together and moreover in a test of the Epic Series.
4Island Epic also positive for the other couple, the one formed by Fabian Rabensteiner and Daniel Geismayr, for them a third place in the stage and the third place in the general classification, which underlines their being two true specialists of long distances and another test overtaken by their Pirelli Scorpion wheeled Wilier Triestina URTA SLR which this year really seems to have subscribed to the podiums.
