Around 8:00 on Saturday the first screams of gassed riders began to be heard! This is because Torquato and Luis would soon hide to deliver the 40 free bike passes offered by Foodspring through a manhunt on the trails.

The atmosphere of general excitement was more than understandable, for the first time the PARTYRIDE event was held outside the Mottolino bikepark (Livigno) with the aim of reaching riders in different parts of Italy, starting precisely from Tuscany.
In fact, the Amiata bikepark was chosen as the second stage of the Tour because from the beginning, Emiliano Pinzi and his team showed that they fully shared the PARTYRIDE spirit, as well as offering a choice of trails perfect for the experience we wanted to create. . Furthermore, the more central position compared to the bikeparks in the Alps allowed us to reach new young riders that we couldn't wait to meet!
The program for Saturday 17 included the classic PARTYRIDE descent all together, and also 3 fun challenges that everyone could participate in, without any competition stress. At 15:00 the huge "train" of over 300 riders started and headed towards the 8volante trail, one of the nine trails accessible by chairlift (other three longer trails are present outside the bike park and can be accessed with a special shuttle).
Soon the riders, led by Torquato, reached the jumping area where a crowd of spectators (parents, friends and onlookers) was waiting for them to enjoy 20 minutes of Best Whip challenge.
Then all the riders moved to the final jump of the Froggy trail, where the long jump challenge was held. The huge mass of riders and spectators then moved towards the final challenge, perhaps the most awaited one: the Deathgrip challenge. This challenge consisted in facing a curve, right or left, without braking and with the hands closed in a "fist" around the knob (a single finger on the brake would have caused the disqualification).
The riders progressively went from a run-up of about 40 meters to over 200 meters, a distance from which only two riders played the final, trying to stay inside the parabolic, thus giving a show to the very excited public!
Although the PARTYRIDE is a non-competitive event, open to everyone and free, at the end of the day the award ceremony was held for the boys who proved to have given their best in each of the 3 challenges.
The celebrations then continued at the CPGANG stand where anyone could have a chat or a photo with Torquato, but also other Italian riders such as Nick Pescetto, Jonny Livorti, Manuel Simion, Luis B Caldoi or Ivo Pasquettin, ending the day with a beer and a smile. printed in the face.
We are waiting for you all for the third and final appointment of the PARTYRIDE TOUR: CPGANG W / Torquato Testa at Monza Pizza Bikepark Saturday 22 October.
Challenge winners:
Best whip - Edoardo Perugino
