# 3 Fort William DH: Ready for the finals? Here are the results of the qualifications

Many confirmations from the (wet) qualifications of Fort William, 2nd round World Cup DH.

Camille Blanche
A mountain biker jumps a ramp during a race, surrounded by spectators and volunteers in a natural, competitive environment.

After a free practice and training session, the DH athletes returned to compete in qualifying.

The leader of the World Cup Camille Blanche he took first place in qualifying putting Vali Höll behind by more than a second and a half. Switzerland is confirming itself in a year of grace. Myriam Nicole finished third but far from the first two (+6 seconds), confirming that thelast period was not easy.

Very good 5th place for Eleonora Farina, always very solid, as well as Veronika Widmann, 9th place.

Among men, Laurie Greenland wins in front of the young Charlie Hatton (let's see if he will be able to confirm himself today) and Greg Minnaar, back again at the top of the charts just 2.490 seconds behind his teammate Laurie. Class is not water for the world champion Greg.

Loic Bruni out from the games for a bad fall. Too bad for Davide Palazzari who was unable to test the track well due to a very strong headache, jeopardizing the qualification (85th). Here are his words before qualifying: "I am not clear that I got it but a very strong headache made it impossible for me to ride. I tried anyway but it was getting dangerous and I had to let it go. I keep my fingers crossed to be able to take part in qualifying". Just behind Marcello Pesenti (87th). Discreet 34th place for Loris Revelli, called today to a great run.

Follow the race live on Red Bull TV (13.30 women - 14.30 men). All the race information.

In the Juniors it was Phoebe Gale and Jackson Goldstone to snatch the best times.

ppgad@pucrs.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
