A project in which the organizing committee of HERO Dolomites has always strongly believed, to create a real network of off-road cycling events (on the UCI calendar) that have in common the hardness of the track and the beauty of the context mountain in which they take place.
In 2024 the HERO Series will consist of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites, the Black Forest Ultra Bike Marathon in Germany and the National Park Bike Marathon with start and finish in Switzerland.
A real challenge within the challenge, for those with big and ambitious goals, driven by a passion that is not just a sport but a real lifestyle.
«We are very happy and excited to announce the HERO Series 2024 circuit, capable of uniting three historical excellences of the marathon trials in Europe - comments Gerhard Vanzi, creator of HERO Dolomites - The passion for this discipline and for everything that gravitates around it, starting from contact with and respect for nature, it makes us believe in this great challenge that returns with a completely new calendar».
Three appointments, therefore, united not only by being the most demanding competitions on the international scene, but also by being hosted in natural areas of rare beauty and uniqueness, and for this reason protected by their respective organizations with important eco-sustainability initiatives.
