Ondrej Cink returns to the official Mondraker team (with 1st sponsor Primaflor), where he had played in 2018, before joining Team Kross until last year. The Czech Ondrej Cink is therefore back in the Spanish UCI Elite formation to try to get back to the level of 2021, after an unsuccessful year in 2022 with various physical problems, including covid when he was researching top form.
At 32, Cink has earned his place among the biggest names on the circuit, highlighting a 2021 season in which he finished third overall in the World Cup after collecting podiums in Leogang, Les Gets (2nd) and Snowshoe (3rd). The Czech national champion, title won ahead of Jaroslav Kulhavy, is impatient to start this new season to reconfirm itself among the top riders.
I'm super happy to be back. I've been following everything they've accomplished over the past four years and both the team and the Mondraker Podium bike have made great progress. The bike is amazing, I can't wait to launch this rocket in competition. Excited and motivated to give everything for the next two years – Ondrey Cink
The Primaflor Mondraker Team will be able to field another TOP rider in the female field, namely the reconfirmed Rebecca McConnell. Rebecca ranked at 2nd place in the World Cup of this season and won the first 3 stages: Petrópolis (Brazil), Albstadt (Germany) and Nove Mesto (Czech Republic). To complete the roster the 2 Under23 Francesc Barber and the very young Marta Cano. Experts David Arroyo, José 'Quillo' Márquez and Francisco Mancebo will also be part of the block in the marathon discipline. Arroyo and Mancebo have had a history full of prestigious results on the road.
