Öhlins launches the new TTX22m.2 Shock

Öhlins announces the launch of the TTX22m.2, a second “generation” of the original TTX22m that benefits from several design evolutions.

Olhins TTX22m2

The updated TTX22m.2 builds on the supreme levels of performance, traction and control that made Olhins great. Chosen by UCI MTB World Cup winner Loic Bruni and Specialized Gravity teammate Finn Iles.

The TTX22m.2 offers optimized overall performance and greater adjustability.
Improved performance at low speeds.

Overall, the damper's spring curve will improve performance for less progressive bikes that need more end-of-stroke support. The new design also has the added effect of reducing the risk of a stroke end that could affect handling.

Easier stroke adjustment

Changing the spring and travel is an easy operation on the TTX22m. 2. This is achieved by adding or removing 2,5mm washers under the bump stop. No special tools are required, nor is shock disassembly required to perform the operation. The spring, on the other hand, can be changed simply by loosening the preload and removing the spring seat locking ring.

Wider adjustment range

The upgraded shock absorber blue ring high-speed compression valve now offers a wider adjustment range.

Improved “fit”

Two new heads have been developed for the TTX22m.2 which make the shock more adaptable. The cylinder heads for both the normal eyelets and the pin mount now have a side-by-side tank design. This means that the shock absorbers are more compact and can be mounted on a wider range of bikes. There will also be a traditional online piggyback version for the trunnion.
