It was Tommaso Francardo of the Abetone Gravity Team who, astride his Ancillotti, achieved an important victory as much as the rooster of participants with the former Italian champion Mirko Vendemmia chasing him. But as mentioned, despite a good battle, Mirko didn't manage to beat an amazing Tommaso who, with the victory in the very difficult PS1, then repeated in PS4, built up a sufficient advantage to bring him to the top step of the podium in the end .

"A difficult race, both in terms of course and in terms of rivals' value, so I'm very happy with the result, and despite the imperfect choice of tires (Tommaso raced with extreme wet tyres) on a drying course, I was able to lead home a great result“. Excellent third Matteo Saccon dell'Appennino Bike revitalized by the change of team.
Among the women, another victory by Nadine Ellecosta (Abetone Vittoria Gravity Team) also over Ancillotti, who dominated the race by winning all the stages, thus overtaking Laura Rossin, even if the third place of the very young (17 years !!! ) Giorgia Fiocchi who thus hits her first ever podium in a national competition.

Nadine Ellecosta at the end of the race was very happy and said "Tough race, but with really nice stages, which gave me great satisfaction”. The Juniors saw Luca Donati (Arezzo cycling school) hoist himself on the top step of the podium overtaking Lorenzo Scarpetti (Appennino Bike) and Francesco Tomelini (Team Todesco).

YOUTH COMPETITIONS AND MASTERS
Among the over 100 kids at the start in the Beginners and Students categories victory for the Abetone Vittoria Gravity Team with Matteo Falcini on the top step for the first time in a national race ahead of Simone Leo of the Fristads Merida Team and Matteo Melloni of the Appennino Bike. In the rookies, the top positions continue to mix race after race as evidence of a great balance, this time the paths of the Pistoia hills rewarded Alberto Chiaromanni who started a double victory of the Arezzo Cycling School ahead of Luca Capacci and Francesco Masiero of the Bussolino Sport, while among the female rookies the one-two went to the Porrettana Bike with Emma Guglielmi in front of Marta Fiocchi.
In the masters the series of victories of Giulio Monnecchi (SAM sport) continues in the M1, as well as the domination of Matteo Rimondo (Abetone Vittoria Gravity Team) in the M2. In the M3 class, a great Davide Gasperini managed to interrupt the positive series of Marco Mazzi (La bicycleria) who was forced into second place. Even in the M4 Matteo Cuneo (Team Blu Belga) got the better of the winner of the 2 previous rounds Alessandro Bagnoli (I-MTB), while in the M5 another legend like Bruno Zanchi (Fristads Merida) left no way out for Marco Dorigatti and Alessandro Genesis. Rolando Galli (Abetone Vittoria Gravity Team) made a great return to the top step in the M6s and finally freed from mechanical problems ruled by Nicola Raffaelli and Sandro Donati, while Andrea Consani won among the M7s.
The race started at 8 from the Della Rana Park in Pistoia and developed on the wonderful paths of the Upper Ombrone Valley which can also be used with the help of the Porrettana railway which from the Pistoia station climbs up to San Mommè allowing the loading of the bikes and so helping to overcome an important difference in height without any effort.
Great work done on the trails by Enrico Landucci's Young Riderz MTB School asd, and the trail builders of the AVDO Trail area, who have thus managed to create a new tourist product, capable in the near future of bringing an influx of amateur riders eager to test the routes used by the TES athletes and creating an important totally new tourist movement for the municipality of Pistoia also thanks to the synergies with the aforementioned Porrettana railway which allows you to climb to high altitudes in a few minutes.
It is important to remember how all of TES rallied alongside the boys who, coming from Emilia Romagna, faced a difficult trip to be able to participate in round 4 with the feat of Daniel Bartalucci at the top who won the front category running totally in the dark , simply because he was shoveling mud at home on Saturdays.
And therefore, in addition to the minute of institutional silence, the entire TES has launched the proposal to raise funds from now until the Abetone stage to be allocated to the basic teams in the areas affected by the flood tragedy.
