There is little time left for the international competitive season as far as enduro is concerned, with the first two stages of the news that will take place in Val di Fassa, in what can now be defined as a classic of the discipline. A race that in the past has already been awarded as the best of the circuit and which for this 2021 has decided to double. We wanted to reach Basilico, to get some information on the condition of the trails given the presence of a lot of snow at high altitude and to know something more about the organization of this event.

Hi Marco, these are intense months, but fortunately we have reached an excellent degree of harmony and we are managing to better manage every detail of this opening.
How are the works progressing? Is the snow creating difficulties for you at high altitudes?
This year the weather and snow conditions are not helping us, at the moment we still have more than a meter high and in some points even more, the committee has worked hard in recent weeks and the specials are almost ready! We weren't able to do everything we wanted, but still we think they are up to the event.
Do you have any news in store for riders?
Despite everything, there will be some interesting news for the riders, last autumn we went ahead with some works, which we finished this spring, and on all the trails there will be something new.
An event of this magnitude will certainly be difficult to manage in the current pandemic situation, how are you gearing up?
At the moment this is the greatest concern, we are applying all the uci and fci protocols but also some restrictions that many may not understand or perceive as extreme, but we must think that unfortunately the pandemic is not over! And you have to do everything to try to avoid going back months. Bubbles will be created for any aspect related to the event, obviously it is not possible to think of controlling everything but we hope and confuse in the understanding and help from all the participants in the event to bring it home in the best way!
Managing two events in such a few days is an extreme undertaking, how did you organize yourself?
Obviously managing 2 events in 5 days, which will actually be 3 because the second stage will be split over 2 days to allow amateurs to compete in ews 80 and 100, it will not be easy, but we have always liked the challenges. For some years the committee has been structured with very specific roles and with tasks that each one carries out in a very professional way. The biggest problem this year was the time to organize, because with the health situation, until the last moment we don't know how things can change! Personally I can tell you that it was really hard to restart after months of inactivity and after a winter that brought us to our knees, but I am also convinced that it is a great way to relaunch the tourist season.
Two races should also include two different routes, can you give us some information?
As for the route I can not reveal anything but there may be some difference!
