Two schools of thought collide at Red Bull Rampage

In the last edition Brendon Semenuk surprised everyone by winning with a single plate, some other riders decided to follow him. Who will have made the right choice?

A change is taking place in the world of free ride. no longer just ultra muscled DH bikes or sloop style front pegs. Semenuk's victory last season certainly paved the way for a different way of interpreting 'heavy' free ride

Brandon Semenuk during last year's Rampage, his mono-plate allowed him solutions impossible with a double plate, such as the jump in question

Who will be right?

From the images that have leaked these days it would seem that this year it is not only the Canadian athlete who has chosen a single-plate bike, but that there are other riders who have opted for this solution.

a real challenge in the challenge, between those who, faithful to tradition, will continue to ride a double plate and those who have instead chosen a more 'agile' bike with which to afford decidedly more complex triks, always on condition that they have the courage and the ability to perform them in the extreme conditions of the Rampage.

In a few days we will see who was right and if the new school of thought will dominate this year too.
