Shaun Palmer was born on November 14, 1968 in South Lake Tahoe (USA). He was a snowboard, ski, mountain bike and motocross professional… a true and authentic legend! Very famous in winter sports for his tables, real works of art.
A career studded with successes in snowboarding, mountain biking and Ski Cross, without considering that he was also a real talent in BMX and Motocross. In 1996 he took the lead of win the DH World Cup and after a targeted preparation the victory escaped him for only 150 cents from Nico Vouilloz, but many said it was because of the loose clothing he was wearing which caused a sensation as everyone ran in tight lycra suits.

For many he was the character who brought some development in the gravity disciplines but his very nihilistic, punk, stray character certainly did not help him with the press and with the media in general: many times he was stopped by the police for attitudes to the limit of decency. An influential character, elected athlete of the year by USA Today in 2002, who revolutionized the world of MTB with aggressive riding, introducing novelties such as motocross helmets and "BMX" pedals, while the rest of the world went down in lycra suits and XC-style quick attachments.
One of Palmer's many tattoos! Without forgetting that on his arm there was a nice CADILLAC!
His braggart way remained in the minds of the fans at the time, his Camper was a fully chrome-plated greyhound coach with a gothic rear P on the back. Various outside brands also invested in him with Swatch which had created a watch of their own for Shaun. The fact remains that few (if any) have managed to equal him in so many successes in different disciplines. It now appears that Shaun Palmer will be Team Intense's new team manager for 2015. He and Jeff Steber, founder and owner of Intense, want to bring the brand back to the top of the cup results, just as they have in the past.
