On August 15, 2021, in Novi Sad, Serbia, Lars Forster won his second European title riding the brand new Scott Spark RC, after an opaque period in terms of cup results that had immediately fueled negative "rumors" on the bike .

With a little delay, perhaps given the delivery times of the bikes, the reigning European champion is given a Spark RC limit edition with an exclusive color and not intended for sale, unless we become European champions too.
The assembly is of course top of the range with RockShox SID Ultimate (35mm stanchions), SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS drivetrain, Syncros Silverton SL carbon wheels (30mm channel), Syncros Fraser iC SL handlebar and super light Tofino saddle.

LARS FORSTER
Forster Lars was born on 1 August 1993 and is a Swiss cyclocrossist and biker among the top riders in the world. 1.77 tall for 68kg, he got noticed by conquering the silver medal at the World Team Relay in 2011 with Schneitter, Litscher and Schurter when he played in the Juniores category (18 years old).

From U23 there have been some good placements finalized in his last year in the category, where he manages to win 2 world cup stages (precisely at Lenzerheide and Nove Mesto) and two top10 in Val di Sole and Albstadt. In 2016, the transition to the Elite with the official BMC team where he manages to immediately win the call-up for the Rio Olympics together with Fluckiger and Schurter. However, the performance was one of the best and he was forced to retire. The following year, 2017, interesting signs arrive with the 5th place in the Val di Sole world cup (at just 24 years old) and victories in minor international competitions, such as for example at Montichiari in Italy for the Internazionali d'Italia.

In 2018, his move to Team Scott with the definitive leap in quality, also thanks to his age and the right maturity: victory of the European title in 2018 and 2021, the Cape Epic in 2019 paired with Schurter, 1 World Cup stage in Snowshoe in 2019 and various podiums.

What awaits him in 2022? Only time will tell.
