It was a strange sensation what I felt today riding a bicycle and not a van ... And, yes, on this day I finally dedicated myself to having fun with the bike with the engine up and down these fantastic hills ...
When I tell you that I am in favor of e-bikes, there is a reason ... Today in three hours I covered seven special stages with 1800 meters of altitude difference, enjoying like crazy in relaunching the bike out of corners and driving at high speeds mixed with overturns!
I started the reconnaissance from the first special stage, which strangely is not downhill but uphill! And do you want to know the truth? inserting the turbo I had fun like a child (hence today's photo), and I had the impression of being back to adolescence with my Honda CRE 50 made up at 80, to accelerate on the paths of the mottarone ... Too funny, too if the heart was totally out of bounds!
My favorite special is the two, a relatively easy path, on sight that passes from the easy and fast initial rocks to a natural flow in the middle of the "maritime" pines that recall a "mixed" driving style between the Alps and Spain ...
The special 3 is the typical enduro descent that can vaguely recall the terrain of Sestri Levante, but with the personality and pride of the Sierra Nevada, with slow hairpins, tight technical then stretch to 100 then, then again slow tight tencico
The 4 the most complete, an easy and fun flow on the rocks.
The 5 less than 2 minutes very similar to the special number 3.

The technique of going down to 90% in my opinion is the one that will reward the winner, unless you know the specials by heart otherwise they are traitors who deceive you with easily passable sections on sight but which suddenly turn into a succession of tight and blind hairpins where the fall awaits you!
Even the setting of the bike is not the simplest, I would like to turn soft to enjoy the ps 2 driving, but then ps 3 and 5 have several very steep sections in which a more sustained bike will help to let go of the brakes but above all not to overturn. !!!

The environment
I really like the environment, no vans to try, at 8.30 in the square and then a nice ride all together, which in the end even in the transfers the fatigue is different, it is veiled by the fun and the special tests are very characteristic. There is a lot of serenity, the desire to live and develop this new discipline which is constantly expanding
Finally I am very happy because I am living the umpteenth spectacular experience of my long "RustickCarriera"
