We tackled the basics of MTB riding: the neutral position, the curves, the steeps and (extra lesson) the drops. By beginner we mean the user who still wants to approach single tracks: if you ride a cycle path with a 160mm full, I'm sorry to tell you, but you're not doing mtb but cycle touring. Nothing wrong, indeed, but I have to be hard and sincere.
Mountain biking is a highly technical sport but, once tamed, it can take us anywhere and safely, without risking going out every weekend! Space for videos.
