Last Saturday the DH rainbow jerseys were assigned: and in the Elite race, Loris Revelli finished with an excellent 14th place (also worthy of note is the 15th place of Davide Palazzari, here you can read his interview after the race). We caught up with Loris to hear some impressions of him after the Fort William race.
1) Hi Loris and congratulations for the excellent 14th place. Are you satisfied with the result or could you have done more?
Let's say that I'm quite satisfied, with the conditions that were there it was normal to make some mistakes. Obviously it burns me a little for those who arrived in front of me who descended in the dry like Suarez and Williamson, but racing is also this, it's an Outdoor sport and we take it for what it is, and I must say that at the same time it is satisfactory to do times close to those descended in better conditions.

2) What conditions did you find when you went down?
I don't think the track has deteriorated that much: when I set off it was already about 30 minutes and it was going down really well. Since everything was stabilized, the upper part wasn't bad but the forest obviously became very treacherous as soon as it got wet.

3) How do you judge the work of the FCI? It seems to be working fine lately.
We were a great group, there are still things to improve to compare ourselves to the reference nations but we are already well advanced. I hope that, with the results we're getting, the support will increase and who knows, maybe a little more budget to make some nice plans for the future!!
4) Charlie Hatton had the race of his life: what influences the most in a run of this type?
Charlie is a rider who lives a bit in the shadows but, from my point of view, he is one of the most technical riders in the World Cup! He has an excellent feeling with Fort William and this is enough to make a run like this. We spoke to Palazzari the days before the match and we had put him in our favorites for the shirt… and so it was! He deserves it so much! (ed, future Loris and Davide FANT manager)

5) What goals does Loris Revelli have between now and the end of the season?
The start of the season wasn't the best: I was struggling a bit with the bike but now the feeling seems to have improved and I feel ready to push a little harder! So let's see what happens! Objectives: finish in the top 20 overall and make some top 15 in the World Cup!
Thanks to Loris Revelli for the time dedicated to us and good luck for the continuation of the season! If you want to read other news about Loris, click on this link.
