La Capoliveri Legend greeted Johnny Cattaneo: thus leaving the deserved applause. The latest successes, for him, came precisely with the Wilier 7C Force jersey, which he helped to grow over the years and to bring to the headlines, with the memorable stage victory at Cape Epic in 2019, one of the most beautiful affirmations of him.
Johnny Cattaneo (19 May 1981) was the 2010 Italian marathon champion, one of the best marathon performers at national level.
Resident in Santa Brigida, in the Bergamasco area, Cattaneo played in the Lissone MTB Team (2006-2007), before moving on to Team Androni Giocattoli (2008), Team Full Dynamix (2009-2012), Team Selle San Marco Trek (2013-2015) ) and then the Wilier Force (2016-2022).
Italian mtb marathon champion 2010, for ten years a permanent presence in the national team and bronze medal at the last tricolor marathon, where he lost the chance to compete for full success due to a mechanical problem he suffered in the final kilometers of the race.
