It has been a few years since Andreu planned a trip to South America. He wanted to take his MTB to a different place, get out of the routine and explore, as this is the definition of our sport.
"The red clay was perfect, I was riding lines that gave me a feeling I had never experienced on a bike before. The length of the lines made me feel like I was skiing or snowboarding. It's something I've been trying to do for many years, and I've finally managed to do it here by making long turns up a steep virgin slope.
This Peru trip was the best experience of my life, not only because of the horseback riding which was arguably the best thing I've ever done, but also because I got to know a wonderful country full of great people! From my point of view, this is what we need in mountain biking, more exploration, bigger mountains, more freeride! " - Andreu Lacondeguy
