Loic Bruni raced the 2022 World Championships (won) with Öhlins electronic suspension on his Specialized Demo kittata for the world championship of Les Gets. To tell the truth, he had already used these suspensions at the end of 2021 precisely in the World Cup race at Snowshoe (which he later won).
You have not seen the race downhill Les Gets World Championship? here is the DH RACE REPORT.
Neither Öhlins nor Specialized are revealing much about this, so all we can share are just the few details we see from these photos. Between the head tube and the plate you can see a large cable that goes to a remote control on the handlebar.
The Bruni Demo had a carbon cover above the upper shock absorber support, which therefore hid any other cables from view that would have suggested that the remote control was also controlling. Could it be a locking of the shock absorber? Of course in DH there would not be too much need.

The shock absorber could use the same technology used in high-end motorcycles such as the Ducati 1199 Panigale S or the Multistrada 1200S. The TTX EC is coupled to a control unit that continuously monitors the driving behavior, i.e. how the bike responds to a certain riding style. Öhlins' algorithms take this information and use it to change the shock setting while riding the motorcycle. Let's see when more info about it will come out and the veils will be removed, or rather the carbon cover, to the shock absorber.
