After the races from last weekend in Maydena, the UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Cup heads four hours through Tasmania to Derby. Derby hosted EWS races in 2017 and 2019, so some riders already know the terrain. Here's everything you need to know before the second round of the Enduro World Cup on Saturday 1st April.
Stay connected to 365mountainbike to follow the updates of the race and the results but here is some information to be autonomous and to be "in shape" in any FANTAmtb.

FAVORITES
The trio of wonders Rude, Melamed and Moir were present, but they didn't shine in the first stage. Luke Meier-Smith is super on the ball and will be the man to beat here as well. Watch out for Booker: the conditions are slimy and he is an expert on flat pedals. Outsider: Troy Brosnan (Canyon), used to racing in extreme conditions.
Among women, Isabeau Courdurier (Lapierre) is the favourite, winner in the first race, but watch out for Harriet Harnden (Trek), who is young and growing. Morgane Charre, with its Flat pedals and slimy conditions, might surprise you. Valentina Holl is also one to keep an eye on: given the rain, when conditions get tough, the tough start to play.
Here the roll of honor of the EWS to consult the latest arrival orders. Small note: you have lined up the formation for the FANTAmtb? At 23.00 pm on Friday 31 March the possibility of deploying one's formation for the 2st event scheduled in Tasmania will close.
ITALIANS PRESENT
There will be 4 Italians present, namely Tommaso Francardo (55, Abetone Ancillotti Vittoria Factory Team), Mirco Vendemmia (63, Fulgur Racing Team), Gloria Scarsi (136, Canyon Collective) and Sophie Riva (162, Sunn French Connexion Racing) . Tommaso Francardo was the best Italian in Maydena (48th) while Mirco Vendemmia further back due to a crash, but in the free practice at Derby he finished in 7th place proving to be there. Gloria Scarsi waiting at the gate after Maydena's 17th place.

WHERE TO SEE LIVE
There isn't a lot of information and this was a bit of a disappointment after the announcements with Eurosport. You will be able to see Highlights and many summary videos on the official YouTube channel of UCI MTB World Series while on Eurosport you will be able to see very accurate deferred matches. For LIVE TIMING, keep an eye on the official website UCI MTB World Series.
EYE TO THE TIME ZONE (GMT+11)
