This historic race will see the world's fastest enduro racers descend on Maydena Bike Park, a purpose-built trail center located high in the forests of Tasmania's Derwent Valley.

Maydena is the first venue to host a UCI Enduro World Cup. The competition will have a new style and all six stages of the race will be run on the same day (Sunday 26 March). Points will now be awarded for each stage, leading to closer and more exciting racing, as well as tighter competition throughout the season as athletes vie for the UCI World Cup title.

In the women's competition Isabeau Courdurier (Lapierre Zipp Collective) is the favourite. The defending Enduro World Series (EWS) winner has dominated the enduro field since 2019. However, fellow Frenchwoman Morgane Charre (Pivot Factory Racing) and Brit Harriet Harnden (Trek Factory Racing Gravity) will be ready to do battle ee will do their best to stop her from winning back her first win of the year.

In the men's competition all eyes will be on 2022 Enduro World Series winner Jesse Melamed. This weekend's race will mark his debut for the newly formed Canyon CLLCTV Factory Enduro Team, and the first in his racing career not aboard a Rocky Mountain. Two-time Enduro Worlds Series winner Richie Rude (Yeti/Fox Factory Racing) will be looking to claim victory in the UCI World Cup, while Martin Maes (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) finished his season strong last year and is ready to get back on the podium. Australian Jack Moir will be racing with the new YT MOB team and no doubt racing on home soil will help him a lot.

You will be able to see Highlights and many summary videos on the official YouTube channel of UCI MTB World Series while on Eurosport you will be able to see very accurate deferred matches. We at 365mountainbike will undertake to keep you updated with news almost in real time.
