Among the men, it was Goldstone, just 21 years old, who dominated one of the most selective courses of the discipline. With four World Cup victories this season alone, the Canadian is becoming the new dominant force in men's DH, with a consistency not seen since the days of Aaron Gwin in 2012. Behind him, the German Henri Kiefer (20 years) surprised with a very valuable silver, while the Irish Ronan Dunne (23 years old), fresh from his success in Les Gets, finished in third place.

For Höll it is about the fourth consecutive world title, who consolidates her role as the absolute queen of downhill. At just 24 years old, the Austrian champion now boasts four Elite World Championships and three World Cups overall in the last four years.
