The Elite Women's season was evenly matched, with Valentina Höll finally taking several crucial victories (including Lake Placid) and securing the overall title thanks to consistency and solid performances. Gracey Hemstreet won some races and battled for the lead, but ultimately failed to challenge Höll's lead.
Among the Elite Men, Jackson Goldstone was practically dominant, although he had some ups and downs that allowed the super-consistent champion Loic Bruni to reach the final World Cup round still in contention. Goldstone won numerous World Cup races, and at the end of the season he finished atop the overall standings, tying the record for consecutive DH World Cup victories.
