A year that saw the youngsters in the limelight: Jordan Williams and Jackson Goldstone won 2 World Cup events in their debut in the top category. Also noteworthy is the victory of Oisin O'Callaghan, in his 2nd year among the Elite, winning at Snowshoe in America. The final ranking sees the experience of Loic Bruni in the lead who, despite many unlucky events also due to bad weather, takes home the general ahead of the young Goldstone.
Among women, the World Cup opened with the victory of Rachel Atherton, returning from maternity leave, which surprised all the competitors. In the end, however, Vali Holl proved that she was clearly the strongest of hers, taking home the overall Cup title, with 4 stage victories, and the title of World Champion. Nice to see Marine Cabirou win 2 stage races after the bad injury suffered in 2022 and Veronika Widmann's podium at Mont Sainte Anne.
