5 September 2015 – Nino Schurter he plays with technique and wins over Julien Absalon, his eternal rival. In the most technical and slippery part of the track, Nino always manages to break away from Abslaon in a counter-slope passage full of roots, forcing the transalpine to close the gap. On the last lap, Schurter pulls straight and manages to avoid being caught, thus winning his fourth world championship.
Third was the Czech Cink, Jaroslav Kulhavy's compatriot, who was out of the race already on the first lap due to rib pain following a fall in training. Manuel Fumic finishes in 4th place. Andrea Tiberi, having started very well, led the first lap with Schurter, but evidently overrevved, losing positions and finishing 17th. First of the Italians, Fontana (13th), ahead of Daniele Braidot (14th) and his brother Luca Braidot (16th).
