Great performance by the Belgian Filip Meirhaeghe who took home his 1st world cup ahead of the Swiss Sauser and the Dutch Brenjens. In the women's field, Alison Dunlap surpasses Sabine Spitz and Margarita Fullana.

Among the teams, victory for Trek-Volswagen led by Roland Green and Alison Sydor. Behind them are Giant Global and Specialized.
