Stevie Smith (November 25, 1989 – Nanaimo, May 10, 2016) was a Canadian biker, winner of the World Cup downhill in 2013 and twice medalist (silver 2010 and bronze 2012) at the world championships.
In 2013 he won the World Cup ranking for the first time thanks to victories in three of the six events on the calendar, preceding Gee Atherton and Greg Minnaar in the Cup results.
In February 2014 he broke his ankle during training in Queenstown, New Zealand. Following the operation and convalescence he returned to racing mid-season to defend the World Cup title but was unable to excel. Smith died tragically at the age of 26, on May 10, 2016, following an accident during motorcycle training.
