Laurie Greenland (born February 18, 1997) fell in love with the sport at the age of eight after receiving his first mountain bike. His first years riding a mountain bike were spent in South Wales, where he started racing Dragons Downhill Series.
In 2014 he came 2nd at the junior world championships, winning the title of junior world champion in 2015 in Vallnord. In 2016 he moved to the Elite category, arriving in 2nd place at the world championships in Val di Sole, a stage that he will win in 2019.
