Julien Absalon (Remiremont, 16 August 1980) is a French biker. Specialist of cross country, is the reigning Olympic champion, having won gold at the 2008 Beijing Games, in addition to gold in the 2004 Athens Games, he was world junior champion in 1998, under 23 in 2001 and 2002 and Elite in 2004, 2005 , 2006 and 2007 and won the world cup five times in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, always in cross country. His palmares is truly impressive and he is rightfully one of the best bikers of all time.
