Jaroslav Kulhavy (Czech Republic, 8 January 1985), specialist in cross country, was European champion in 2010, also taking home 2nd place in the XC world championship in the same year. A promising young player among the juniors (European and world champion in the same year), he had lost his way a bit but over the years he never gave up and slowly among the Elites he managed to return to very high levels. 2011 was Jaroslav's magical year with the victory of the European Championship, the XCO World Championship and the World Cup (2nd place in the Marathon World Championship). In 2012 he won the Olympic title in London.
