Brook MacDonald (25 November 1991) is a New Zealand specialist in downhill. Multiple national champion, he won the world junior downhill championship in 2009. Even though Elite did not produce any major results, he was an athlete who was always present in the top positions and ready to put on a show with his aggressive riding style.
In the summer of 2019, in Mont-Sainte-Anne in Canada, a fall during the world championship trials risked changing his life forever: a serious back injury, dangerously close to the spinal cord, kept him sidelined for a year but immediately returned to competing in the cup and putting on a show.
