Renee Junga (18 July 1986) was an Australian BMX professional. In 2005 she won the silver medal at the BMX World Championships and was named Australian BMX cyclist of the year. In 2006 her life changed, right at the beginning of her Olympic journey towards Beijing 2008.
Renee fell while training for the 4 World 2006x Championships in Rotorua, New Zealand. She was taken to hospital with a spinal injury, two broken ribs and a broken sternum and became paraplegic at the age of 20.
Now he enjoys riding a 4-wheel mountain bike on trails and bike parks, without losing his passion for off-roading.
