Katy Winton (born October 31, 1993) is a Scottish mountain biker. Her passion for mountain biking was passed on to her by her father, an avid cyclist. She began competing at 11 and was included in the Commonwealth Games program at 13. Her cross-country career came to an abrupt halt in the winter of 2013, when severe overtraining nearly put her off her beloved two-wheeler. The simultaneous birth of the EWS allowed her to find new motivation, and she has been a prominent athlete in the specialty ever since.
