José Antonio Hermida Ramos (Puigcerdà, 24 August 1978), one of the clearest talents on the Mountain Bike scene with a career that has brought him many successes since he was young, such as the world championship won among juniors and U23s. He is one of the few riders to have won the world championship in all disciplines as in 2010 he became world champion also among the elite. He participated in 3 Olympic events: at the Athens Olympics he won a Silver medal while two fourth places came from the Sydney 2000 and London 2012 Games. In 2013 he reached the podium again at the XC World Championships.
