Joe Barnes first made a name for himself on the circuit downhill, but soon moved into enduro racing growing up very quickly. In the first edition of the Enduro World Series in 2013, he finished ninth in the first race in Punta Ala. In 2014 he climbs onto the 3rd step of the podium at Glentress and La Thuile. His successes include victories at the 2012 Irish Gravity Enduro and the 2013 Innerduro competition in Innerleithen, Scotland and winning the English National Enduro Championship in 2018.
