Floriane Pugin (17 April 1989) is a French specialist in downhill. Floriane Pugin is originally from Haute-Savoie and studied engineering at INSA Lyon. In 2006, among the Juniors, she made herself noticed by the general public by winning the European Championships and, the following year, the European and World Championships. She won her first World Cup stage in June 2011 in Leogang and became French champion in 2013. At the beginning of 2014 she announced that she would withdraw from the 2014 downhill season to refocus on other activity.
On 29 October 2017 Floriane Pugin and Grégoire Lestienne made the first ascent of the Yanme Kang peak (6206 m) during an expedition in Nepal. On 31 August 2019 she married Grégoire Lestienne, a high mountain guide. The year 2020 sees the realization of a project to cross the Alps in 4 seasons, called PIZALP.
