Benjamin Cruz turned pro in 2010 when he was 20 years old and, a year later, signed for the Cannondale Overmountain team alongside his idol Weir and Jerome Clementz. In 2013, his first full-time season on the circuit, he finished 3rd in the Spanish National Enduro and 4th in the Enduro des Hautes Vosges in La Bresse, France. He also participated in the first edition of the Enduro World Series, finishing in 6th position in the first race in Punta Ala.
