The best part of life? Definitely not the one that ends up on Instagram.

Edoardo Perugino launches his "Diario di Bordo" on 365 MTB, a space to share everything that's left out of social media: van trips, mountain biking, freeriding, training, injuries, encounters, and personal reflections. An authentic story that goes beyond the reels and shows the truest side of a rider's life, amidst dreams, sacrifices, and new adventures.

For years, Edoardo Perugino has shared his jumps, journeys, and adventures on social media. Starting today, he's opening his Logbook on 365mountainbike, where adventures become stories and leave room for doubts, falls, and everything that happens before and after a thirty-second video.

welcome at board

There are people who need to plan everything. I, honestly, have never managed to do it.

I like to know where I'm starting from, much less where I'll end up. Perhaps this is precisely why mountain biking has become much more than a sport.

For many, it's a passion; for others, a competition. For me, it's always been a way to explore the world, meet people, challenge myself, and, above all, understand who I am.

Over the past few years, I've been fortunate enough to have experiences that, from the outside, seem almost unreal: competitions, tricks, bike parks, van trips, training with some of Europe's best riders, and thousands of kilometers ridden chasing a dream...

On social media, however, all this lasts just a few seconds.

A reel.

A picture.

A leap.

Then you scroll and move on to the next content.

And rightly so, because Instagram is the perfect place to tell a moment. But a moment isn't a story.

Behind every video are hours of road, dirt under your nails, jumps built from scratch, dozens of attempts, falls, injuries and that question that, sooner or later, every rider asks themselves: is it really worth it?

The answer, for me, is always the same.

Yup.

And it's precisely everything that doesn't fit in a reel that I want to talk about.

Why the Logbook was born

When we started talking with the guys at 365 MTB, we realized that we could do something different.

In this magazine you'll find tests, insights, techniques, travel, interviews, and everything you need to experience mountain biking with awareness.

I don't want to add another review or tell you about yet another itinerary.

I would like to bring you into my daily life.

The daily life of a 20-year-old boy discovering the world with a van and a bicycle.

This is where the Logbook was born.

It won't be a blog or even a travel column.

It will be the place to collect everything that normally remains out of the frame.

Because social media tells what I do, but rarely tells what I experience.

The people you meet along the way, the conversations that stay with you, the days that never end as they began, the adventures you prefer to live to the fullest instead of taking out the camera.

That's where the best part happens.

And that's exactly what I want to tell you here.

There are more than just the best moments

Many people write to me saying they would like to live my life.

The truth is, I would choose her again, every single day.

But it would be wrong to tell you about it only through the best moments.

There are weeks when it seems like nothing works.

Some ideas linger in your head for months before taking shape, with work, sacrifices, and the money to find.

There are tricks that push you to your limits and force you to understand how much you're really willing to try.

And there are injuries that teach you to slow down, even when the only thing you want to do is get back in the saddle.

And then there are the trips.

The real ones.

The nights in the van, the miles driven without knowing if the spot you saw in a photo will actually be as you imagined, the people you meet along the way, the languages you learn almost out of necessity, and all those little experiences that never end up in an Instagram video.

This is my favorite part of my life.

And that's also what I want to share with you.

What you will find in this space

This Logbook will change with me.

There will be stories of my travels, the best freeride spots I can find, tutorials on jumps and tricks, behind-the-scenes looks at competitions, training sessions, mistakes, ideas that work and those that end badly.

There will be people, meetings and stories.

Because in the end, mountain biking is much more than the bikes we ride or the tricks we learn.

It's how we choose to live.

On social media I will continue to share my daily life, as I always have.

Here, instead, we will take the time to tell the stories.

The complete ones.

The first chapter

I don't know exactly where this path will take me.

I only know that I'll be leaving again soon.

There will be new destinations, new spots, new challenges, and probably even a few unexpected surprises.

What I can promise you is that I will try to tell you everything with the same sincerity with which I experience every trip.

Because Instagram will continue to show you where they are.

The Logbook, however, will try to tell you why I got there.

Welcome aboard.
