Born on 21/07/1981 in Rome, he became passionate about the world of bicycles as a kid, watching Marco Pantani on TV. For a few years he devoted himself to amateur competition, and then turned professional in 2006. After a year three of the ranks of the greats he decided to leave to live his experiences in the saddle with a different and lighter spirit. Thanks to a trip on the pedals, without money, from Lourdes to Santiago de Compostela he makes himself known in the world of social media. He then begins his approach to long-distance races where he manages to excel by obtaining both national and international awards.
Always passionate about travel and adventure, in 2018 he decides to transport his bike experience to the coldest places on the planet in search of a different adventure. Thus began a period of intense exploration on the pedals that led him to travel, made even more extreme by the winter conditions.
Passion for the cold
In the 2000s, during a trip to Iceland, he falls in love with the cold and begins to imagine the exploration of the world in its most difficult season, the winter one. If he was born in the mountains, he declared, he would have spent his life climbing in the winter. Living on the plains, he chose to reconcile his passion for ice and low temperatures with that for cycling by choosing to move on the roads of the north.
