The test will be held on the artificial hill of Elancourt, near Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. This race will most likely also see the talented Mathieu Van der Poel at the start.
Normally the MTB world championships would have been my last race of the season. Then I changed my mind but it is logical that I am no longer in top shape, both physically and mentally. I really want to participate in the Olympic MTB test. Just to feel comfortable with MTB again and because I really want to try the Olympic Games circuit. That's why I kept running on the street. I hope I can improve a little. But I already know I won't be in my best shape – Mathieu Van der Poel
